Lee Johnson Managing Director at LD Autovogue, says: ‘Giving back to the local community is something that the team at LD Autovogue feels passionately about and we were really pleased to be able to support the Under 12’s by sponsoring their new football kit. The team is energetic and enthusiastic and they are all looking forward to seeing if they can win the Norfolk Youth Cup as they came runners up last year, something we will be behind all the way.’

The boys were lucky enough to play at Norwich City Football Ground Last year before the game against Bournemouth in the Norwich 6’s and some of the boys were successful in scoring goals on a Premiership club grounds, something they will remember for a long time.
Saturday 4th September seen the boys start the season with a friendly against Wymondham under 12’s where Hethersett won 3-1 with a convincing start to what is hopefully a successful league.
Sales Director James Desira says: ‘Having followed the team for the last 3 seasons and seeing the boys grow in confidence every year has been amazing. Also, having my son play on the team makes it even more special to have a connection to helping the club. A lot of parents give up their time to assist in training and match days, finances are always limited for ‘Grass Root Sports’ so giving something back however little always helps’.
Hethersett teams and the club structure are run by a dedicated committee of volunteers, many of those parents, who carry out a range of demanding but very fulfilling roles, from child welfare, kit and equipment supply, pitch and club management, to communications, sponsorship and general organisation.

Hethersett Athletic Football Club was founded in 1991 and now has 4 adult teams and 8 youth teams.
They are an FA Chartered Standard Development Club that aims to provide:
Football opportunities for all ages and abilities within Hethersett and the surrounding area in a safe environment.
Teams that play an attacking possession based football, allows players and teams to learn and develop.
Both playing and non-playing members that conduct themselves in line with the FA Respect and HAFC codes of conduct.
A club with an emphasis on TEAM (together everyone achieves more).
